These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the-modern-maid.com and the services provided by The Modern Maid LLC. By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a clean, you agree to these Terms.

The Modern Maid LLC is a locally owned residential and commercial cleaning business serving Delaware, Ohio and the surrounding Delaware County area for more than 20 years. Our services

The Modern Maid provides residential and commercial cleaning, deep and move-out cleaning, and senior companion care in the Delaware, Ohio area. Details you submit through the website help us prepare an accurate estimate; quotes, scheduling, and pricing are confirmed directly with our office, and we always have a conversation before work is booked.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on the information you provide and the condition and size of the space at the time of service. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, if the space is significantly different from what was described, or if you request additional services. We will always confirm any change with you before proceeding.

Scheduling and cancellations

• Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, so we can offer the time to another family or business
• Recurring cleans are scheduled by agreement and can be adjusted by contacting our office
• Any deposit, late-cancellation, or lockout terms are provided at the time you book and agreed with our office

Our work and your satisfaction

We take great care in every home and business we clean and stand behind our work. If something isn't right, let us know within 24 hours of your clean and we will make it right. Access to the space, working utilities (water and electricity), and a reasonably safe environment are needed for us to do our best work.

SMS program terms

The Modern Maid SMS is a customer-care messaging program operated by The Modern Maid LLC.

• Program description: booking confirmations and appointment reminders, quote and referral status updates, job-application and account or service notifications, occasional promotional offers, and customer-service replies
• Message types: transactional, promotional, and alert messages, including recurring messages
• Consent is not a condition of purchase: providing your number and checking a consent box is never required to book service, order a gift certificate, submit a referral, apply for a job, or receive a quote
• Age requirement: you must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service
• Frequency: message frequency may vary based on your service and our communication with you
• Cost: message and data rates may apply per your carrier's plan; we do not charge for the messages themselves
• How to opt in: by submitting your phone number on one of our website forms with a consent box checked, or by giving our office permission verbally
• How to opt out: reply STOP to any text from us. You'll receive one final confirmation, then no further messages from this program. To resume, submit one of our forms again with consent, or call our office

• Carrier disclaimer: carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Payment and cancellations

We confirm accepted payment methods and terms with you before service. Payment terms, deposits, and any cancellation or rescheduling policies are provided at the time you book and agreed with our office. Payment is due as agreed, typically at or after completion of service unless other terms are arranged in writing.

You agree to provide accurate information and to use this site only for lawful purposes. The content on the-modern-maid.com — text, photography, logos, and design — is the property of The Modern Maid LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website and may make changes at any time.

Limitation of liability

We take great care in every home and business we clean. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Modern Maid LLC's liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or any service we provide is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware County, Ohio.
